Join us in Morocco from September 14 to 19, 2025 for a six-day journey at the Ed-Connect Summit 2025 Morocco, a unique event designed to expand your professional network, deepen your cultural understanding, and foster meaningful connections among U.S. university professionals in international education. During this immersive experience, participants will explore the historic cities of Rabat and Tangier, engage in cultural activities, and participate in professional development discussions focused on advancing international education.

Through engaging sessions and hands-on experiences, the Ed-Connect Summit 2025 Morocco offers strategies for international program development, student engagement, and cultural fluency. This program is an excellent opportunity for study abroad staff and university faculty to broaden their networks while experiencing Morocco’s rich cultural landscape.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Ed-Connect Summit is an event tailored for study abroad professionals from U.S. universities and colleges interested in establishing partnerships, faculty-led programs, and global opportunities for their students in Morocco. The summit includes informational sessions, workshops, site visits to Moroccan organizations and educational institutions, and networking opportunities. Participants will also experience Morocco’s rich cultural and historical heritage.

Included: 5-star single-occupancy accommodations, breakfasts and lunches, welcome and farewell dinners, airport pick-up and drop-off, workshops and sessions, Al Boraq speed train tickets, and cultural and historical visits.
Not Included: Flights, travel insurance, meals outside those specified, personal expenses, and gratuities. 

We will visit organizations in the private and government sectors, as well as startups and non-profit organizations, each with a history of hosting and supporting our faculty-led and summer abroad programs. The final schedule will be available on the website once finalized.

Speakers will include university professors, entrepreneurs, community leaders, business owners, and MOBT Global stakeholders.

An air-conditioned coach bus will be provided for the entire event and tickets for the Al Boraq speed train will be provided for the transfer from Rabat to Tangier.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of Morocco and discover the many opportunities available for faculty-led and study abroad programs. The summit offers hands-on professional development through informational sessions and workshops, as well as relationship-building with Moroccan companies and organizations.
