Morocco is an excellent country to run a faculty-led program because it is one of the few remaining truly authentic destinations in the world. Its vibrant culture, deep historical roots, and diverse geography offer an unparalleled learning environment.

Morocco provides a rich cultural, historical, and geographic diversity, making it a perfect setting for a wide range of academic disciplines, including history, languages, political science, environmental studies, and more. Students can experience a unique blend of Arab, Berber, and European influences, while also visiting iconic sites like Marrakech, the Sahara Desert, and the ancient city of Fez. This authentic and immersive experience fosters deep educational engagement, helping students to connect their studies with real-world contexts in a meaningful way.

To get started, simply contact us with your program idea. We’ll guide you through the planning process.  We’ll also assist with budgeting and any logistical needs such as accommodations, transportation, and site visits.

Faculty-led programs can vary in length. Typical durations range from 8 days to 3 weeks, depending on the academic requirements and goals. We will work with you to design a program that fits your institution’s academic goals.

We provide full logistical support, including accommodation, transportation, excursions, orientation and on-the-ground assistance in Morocco. From organizing cultural activities to managing group dynamics, we ensure everything runs smoothly so faculty can focus on implementing their educational goals.

Our programs are highly customizable. We work directly with faculty to design itineraries, field trips, and experiences that align with the course objectives. Whether you want to focus on historical sites, language immersion, or service learning, we will tailor the program to your academic goals.

Costs vary based on program duration, activities, accommodation preferences, and group size. We’ll help you develop a budget that outlines all expenses, from transportation to meals. Our team ensures transparency and works to make the program affordable for students while providing an enriching experience.

Our prices are highly competitive and affordable because we plan the program directly, without using middlemen like many other providers. This allows us to keep costs lower while still offering high-quality services and experiences. You’ll find that our rates are often more budget-friendly compared to other providers, making it easier for students to participate.

Morocco is considered a safe destination for students and faculty. Our team on the ground closely monitors safety and ensures that all accommodations, transportation, and activities meet the highest standards. We also provide orientation sessions and 24/7 support throughout the program.

Morocco is a great destination for a wide range of academic fields, including (but not limited to) international relations, Middle Eastern and North African studies, history, political science, economics, art, architecture, religious studies, agriculture, sustainable energy, migration, public health and environmental science. The cultural diversity of Morocco also makes it an excellent location for language and cultural immersion programs.

Students can expect a wide variety of cultural experiences, including visits to historical sites like the Roman ruins of Volubilis, guided tours of cities such as Fez and Marrakech, cooking classes, traditional music and dance performances, and interactions with local artisans. We also offer options for home stays, where students can live with Moroccan families to gain deeper cultural insights.

While it’s helpful to have basic knowledge of Arabic or French, it’s not required. We provide a local Program Leader to ensure smooth communication during the program. Many Moroccans also speak English, especially in major cities and tourist areas.

We take health and safety very seriously. In case of medical emergencies, we have a network of trusted healthcare providers and hospitals available. Additionally, we ensure that participants have access to comprehensive travel insurance, which covers medical emergencies during the program.

U.S. citizens can enter Morocco for up to 90 days without a visa for tourism purposes. However, it’s important to check the latest requirements before departure, as policies can change. We can assist international students with if they need to apply for a visa.

We have successfully helped several U.S. universities plan their faculty-led programs. Some of the institutions we’ve partnered with include the University of Washington, the University of Minnesota, the University of South Carolina, the University of Indianapolis, and many more.
