Duty Locations: Remote in Morocco

Position Overview: MOBT Global is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Assistant to provide logistical, cultural, and administrative support during a faculty-led program in Morocco, working closely with MOBT Global, university faculty, and program participants to ensure smooth operations; all food, transportation, and accommodation expenses will be covered by MOBT Global while the program is in operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide logistical support during the faculty-led program in Morocco, including site visits and excursions.
  • Accompany program participants on all activities to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Act as a cultural facilitator, helping participants navigate Moroccan customs and practices.
  • Facilitate program orientation sessions and provide translation during meetings as needed.
  • Coordinate with local vendors, including site visit coordinators, drivers, tour guides, and accommodation providers.
  • Assist in managing emergency situations that arise during the program.
  • Be available to program participants for any questions or assistance during their stay.
  • Assist with airport pick-up and drop-off for program participants.
  • Submit daily reports to the program leader summarizing the day’s activities and any issues or updates.
  • Collaborate closely with the MOBT Global team and university faculty to ensure a successful program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the program leader or MOBT Global team.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree with 3 years of experience in a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience in a similar field.
  • Fluent in English and knowledgeable about American and Moroccan cultures.
  • Moroccan national or proficient in Moroccan Arabic (Darija).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate the program schedule.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in program coordination, cultural facilitation, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Must be available for the entire months of April and May while the programs are in operation.
