The MOBT Global Engagement Grant application is now closed.

The 2026 MOBT Global Engagement Grant is specifically tailored for faculty members from U.S. universities and colleges who are interested in establishing a faculty-led program in Morocco. This grant provides participants with a unique opportunity to partake in a 7-day introductory visit filled with diverse activities and site visits. These experiences offer a dynamic showcase, presenting a range of potential options and resources for designing a faculty-led program that aligns with your educational objectives and aspirations. The grant will be awarded to four faculty members representing four universities/colleges who undertake this excursion together and will be led by an MOBT Global staff member.

MOBT Global Engagement Grant Eligibility

  • Applicants must be faculty members at a US university or college
  • Applicants must not have previously visited Morocco
  • Applicants must have a solid plan for implementing a faculty-led program in Morocco during the academic year of 2026-2027
  • Applicants must be able to join the introductory visit from Sunday, June 14 to Saturday, June 20, 2026

  • Potential recipients will be contacted by mid-October to schedule an interview
